A woman believed to be the oldest person in the world died at the age of 117, Italian authorities said.Emma Murano, born November 29, 1899, was also officially the last person to live in the world born in the 19th century.
Murano was born in the northern Italian town and lived through two world wars and three different centuries.The mystery of a long life and its extraordinary longevity was often asked to eat raw eggs and cooked eggs every day.

Jones became the oldest living figure in the Guinness Book of Records after the death of her predecessor Misao Okawa from Tokyo. She died on June 17, 2015, 116 years and 25 days. Jones moved to Murano’s mantle after her death in May last year.
